Field Formations (Cycle 1) Daniel Hill

Field Formations is an ongoing album series by Daniel Hill which includes field recordings and electro-acoustic immersive dronescapes for sonic support in all creative endeavors, yoga, meditation, thinking, and even sleeping.
This is the first cycle of the Field Formation series and was completed Spring 2022. Field Formation 1.2 was originally made to be listened to while painting to assist in concentration and is the foundation for for this series. Field Formation 1.3 is a live practice performance using FF 1.2 and FF 1.1 as mixing elements along with the installation boxes from Reciprocal Synchrony (exhibited in Athens Greece 2022) and recorded the day before the actual performance at Metaphor Projects (Brooklyn, NY/March 20, 2022) where the boxes looping tree frogs, cicadas, and spring peepers were scattered around the gallery while Hill live mixed synth, tape, and effects.
